Location of Grande Porto

Grande Porto (Greater Porto) is a Portuguese sub-region, part of the Região Norte . While Espinho belongs to the Aveiro district, the remaining counties are assigned to the Porto district . The neighboring regions are Cávado in the north, Ave and Tâmega in the east, Entre Douro e Vouga and Baixo Vouga in the south and the Atlantic in the west. In 2009, 1,285,352 people lived on an area of ​​817 km².
