The Hackbichl is a scattered settlement of the community Hochwolkersdorf and the market community Schwarzenbach in the district of Wiener Neustadt-Land in Lower Austria .

geography

Hackbichl is located in the Rosaliengebirge in Lower Austria's industrial district . The village lies at about 580  m above sea level. A. , the highest point is 694  m above sea level. A.

Place name

In the Josephinische Landesaufnahme the place is also mentioned in Hokbügl . The place name 'Hackbichl' is probably a field name . The front link Hack is probably to be interpreted as a clearing name and the rear link -bichl comes from the mountain ( Bühel, Bichl for 'hill' ). The name could be interpreted as 'the clearing on the mountain'.

history

Hackbichl has always been part of the village communities of Hochwolkersdorf and the market community of Schwarzenbach, therefore always shared their history and is therefore one of the places in Austria that is located in several communities .
