Hainschwang is a small town in the Innviertel Upper Austria as well as the village of the municipality Moosbach in District Braunau am Inn .

geography

The place is located 11½ kilometers southeast of Braunau am Inn and 21½ kilometers west of Ried im Innkreis . The hamlet of Hainschwang is located on the western edge of the Innviertel hill country and on the southern edge of the Inn Valley at around 400  m above sea level. A. Height between Schachawald and Gaugshamer Wald , on the northeast edge of the former. Although it is completely isolated from the rest of the community by the Schachawald in the Altbach valley, it belongs to the Moosbach area. The village of Hainschwang has only 4 buildings with around 20 residents.

The L1095  Treubacher Straße from Altheim to Treubach passes the town.
