Am Schachawald is a locality in the Innviertel of Upper Austria and belongs to the municipality of Moosbach in the Braunau am Inn district .

The place is located 21 kilometers west of Ried im Innkreis and 12½ kilometers southeast of Braunau am Inn .

It is located on the western edge of the Innviertel hill country at around 400  m above sea level. A. Height between Schachawald and Gaugshamer Wald . Although it is completely isolated from the rest of the community by the Schachawald near Treubach in the Altbach valley, it belongs to the Moosbach area.

The location includes only 3 buildings, along the L1095  Treubacher Straße from Altheim (and Weng ) to Treubach.
