Hanna Viktorovna Knjasjewa-Minenko ( Hebrew חנה קנייזבה-מיננקוUkrainian Ганна Князєва-Міненко , engl. Transcription Hanna Knyazyeva-Minenko, b. Knjasjewa; * September 25, 1989 in Perejaslav-Khmelnyzkyj , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is an Israeli triple jumper of Ukrainian origin who has been eligible to start for Israel since 2013.

Athletic career

Hanna Knjasjewa-Minenko gained her first international experience at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2005 in Lignano , where she won the silver medal with 12.86 m, as well as at the European Junior Championships in Hengelo two years later with 13.85 m. She also competed there in the long jump, but was eliminated from the qualification with a width of 5.88 m. In 2008 she was fourth at the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, with a jump of 13.61 m. At the European Athletics U23 Championships 2011 in Ostrava , she was eliminated with 5.85 m in the long jump qualification, while she was classified in fifth place in the triple jump with 13.61 m. Then she was fourth at the Summer Universiade in Shenzhen with 14.15 m and was eliminated in the long jump with 5.94 m in the qualification. In 2012 she retired from the World Indoor Championships in Istanbul with 13.65 m in qualification and came fourth at the Olympic Games with a width of 14.56 m in the final .

After her marriage to the decathlete Anatoly Minenko , she became Israeli citizens in 2013. At the World Championships in Moscow , she took sixth place with a width of 14.33 m. Two years later she won the bronze medal at the European Indoor Championships in Prague with 14.49 m behind the Russian Yekaterina Konewa and Gabriela Petrowa from Bulgaria. At the European Games in Baku she secured herself with the Israeli team, where she won the triple jump with 14.41 m. She also qualified for the World Championships in Beijing , where she won the silver medal behind Colombian Caterine Ibargüen with a national record of 14.78 m in the final . Also in the European Championships in Amsterdam the following year she secured with 14.51 m silver medal behind the Portuguese patrícia mamona and took again to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in part, where they with 14.68 meters in the finals finished fifth.

In 2017 she reached fourth place at the World Championships in London with 14.42 m in the final and fifth at the European Championships in Berlin 2018 with 14.42 m .

In 2012 Knjasewa was Ukrainian triple jump champion. She also won the triple jump titles for Israel from 2013 to 2016 and 2018. She was victorious in the long jump in 2014 and 2018.
