Headstrong ( English for "headstrong"), the debut album of American actress and singer Ashley Tisdale , by the Musical - TV movie High School Musical became famous. It was released in Germany on November 23, 2007, and in the United States on February 6, 2007.
background
"Headstrong" was recorded in fall 2006 in over a dozen studios. For the recordings, Tisdale worked with established producers in the music business, including Jonathan "JR" Rotem ( Britney Spears , Rihanna ), The Matrix (B. Spears, Hilary Duff ), Kara DioGuardi ( Gwen Stefani , Ashlee Simpson ), Guy Roche and Shelly Peiken ( Christina Aguilera ). Initially it was supposed to be released in 2006, but Tisdale was busy recording the series Hotel Zack & Cody , in which she starred, and promoting high school musicals , so it was decided that the release date would be spring 2007.
The album also contains two songs covered by Tisdale: Don't Touch (originally "Zoom") by Tata Young and Goin 'Crazy (originally: "All Eyes on You") by Sandy Mölling , which is due to the overlap of the songwriters.
Her fourth single in Germany, “Be Good To Me”, was released on October 17, 2008 - six days before the start of the film High School Musical 3: Senior Year , in which she played as in the previous two parts. The soundtrack for the film will be released on October 21.
promotion
The music video of "He Said She Said" also promoted Eckored .
Tisdale herself promoted Headstrong by singing three of the songs on the album on the high school musical tour in different countries.

Reviews
“After all, Ashley is only just beginning her career. She has voice and charisma, and even if this record should mainly inspire the fan base of the Disney production and friends of danceable, but unimportant mainstream music, I won't give it up completely. After all, the album is already called "Headstrong", so 'headstrong', maybe next time there will be a little more of it. "

By March 3, 2008, Tisdale's debut album had sold 500,000 times ( gold award ) in the USA alone and had almost 100,000 sales in Germany. Her single He Said She Said also had over 500,000 sales in the US through June 12, 2008.
