The Heinkel He 270 was a German military multi-purpose aircraft produced by the Ernst Heinkel Flugzeugwerke .

The aircraft was an evolution of the He 70 F . The changes mainly concerned the new engine, a Daimler-Benz DB 601 with 864.2 kW (1175 hp) with an adjustable metal three-blade propeller with a diameter of 3.20 m and the uncovered, non-retractable tail wheel. As in all He-70 military versions, the crew consisted of three men. Only one prototype was made in 1938. He had the civil registration D-OEHF.
