Helmut Imig (born January 27, 1941 in Bonn ) is a German conductor and lives in Essen.

Life

education

Imig completed his musical training at the Cologne University of Music , where he a. a. He was a student of professors Wolfgang von der Nahmer ( conducting ) and Hans-Otto Schmidt ( piano ). At the same time he studied musicology at Bonn University. On July 6, 1962, he improvised with the piece . Helmut Imig has particular ties to the radio orchestras in Munich and Saarbrücken, the Babelsberg film orchestra and the Ensemble Resonanz.
