Hill 'n Dale is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hernando County in the US state of Florida with 1934 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Hill 'n Dale is about 10 km east of Brooksville and about 70 km north of Tampa . The CDP is crossed by US Highway 98 ( SR 50 ).
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the 1934 inhabitants at that time were distributed among 716 households. The population density was 1487.7 inh / km². 69.2% of the population identified themselves as whites, 23.6% as African American , 0.3% as Indians and 0.6% as Asian Americans . 3.3% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 3.0% to several ethnic groups. 10.9% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .
In 2010 there were children under the age of 18 in 43.9% of all households and persons aged 65 and over lived in 24.8% of all households. 76.5% of the households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.91 people and the average family size was 3.22 people.
32.8% of the population were younger than 20 years old, 25.1% were 20 to 39 years old, 25.6% were 40 to 59 years old, and 16.4% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 34 years. 48.2% of the population were male and 51.8% were female.
