Wiscon is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hernando County in the US state of Florida with 706 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Wiscon is located approximately 5 km west of Brooksville and approximately 60 km north of Tampa . The CDP is crossed by 50 Florida State Road .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 706 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 519 households. 95.9% of the population identified themselves as whites , 1.1% as African American , 0.7% as Indians and 0.1% as Asian Americans . 0.4% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.7% to several ethnic groups. 3.5% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
