Timber Pines is located approximately 25 km southwest of Brooksville and approximately 60 km north of Tampa . The CDP is affected by US Highway 19 .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 5386 inhabitants were distributed among 3902 households. The population density was 868.7 inh / km². 98.7% of the population identified themselves as white, 0.3% as African American and 0.4% as Asian Americans . 0.2% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 0.3% to several ethnic groups. 1.4% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .
