South Brooksville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hernando County in the US state of Florida with 4007 inhabitants (as of 2010).

South Brooksville borders the city of Brooksville to the north and is approximately 60 km north of Tampa . The CDP is crossed by US Highways 41 and 98 ( SR 50A ) and Florida State Road 50 .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 4007 inhabitants were distributed among 2147 households.
