Hodruša-Hámre is a municipality in central Slovakia .
The place was formed in 1971 from the municipalities Banská Hodruša (was formed in 1952 mainly from the part of Banská Štiavnica known in German as Hodritsch ) and Dolné Hámre (Unter-Hammer) . In 1980 the municipality "Kopanice" (Gerode) was connected.
