Hoholewe ( Ukrainian Гоголеве ; Russian Гоголево Gogolewo ) is an urban-type settlement in the center of the Ukrainian Oblast Poltava with about 2500 inhabitants (2014).
The village, founded in 1902, has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1957.
geography
Hoholewe is in the Welyka Bahatschka district on the T-17-27 territorial road . The Poltava Oblast Center is 87 km to the southeast and the Welyka Bahatschka district center is 19 km to the southwest of Hoholewe. The village has a train station on the Kiev – Poltava railway line .
