Nowoorschyzke

Nowoorschyzke ( Ukrainian Новооржицьке ; Russian Новооржицкое Nowoorschizkoje ) is an urban-type in the center of the Ukrainian Poltava with about 1800 inhabitants (2014).

Nowoorschyzke is the only village in the settlement council of the same name. Its construction began in 1975 with the simultaneous construction of a sugar factory. Since 1980 the village has had the status of an urban-type settlement. Nowoorschyzke located in Rajon Orschyzja 37 km north of Rajonzentrum Orschyzja . The Poltava Oblast Center is located about 170 km southeast of Novoorschyzke.
