Nowa Haleschtschyna ( Ukrainian Нова Галещина ; Russian Новая Галещина Novaja Haleschtschyna ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Poltava Oblast with about 2200 inhabitants (2014).

The village, which was founded in the early 18th century, received urban-type settlement status in 1968.

Nowa Haleschtschyna is located in Koselschtschyna district on the Borschtschi – Kharkiv railway line and close to the M 22 highway 32 km northeast of Kremenchuk and 10 km southwest of the Koselschtschyna district center . The Poltava Oblast Center is 82 km northeast of Nova Haleschchyna.

In addition to the urban settlement itself, the settlement council also includes the villages Velykaja Besuhlowka ( Великая Безугловка ) and Horbany ( Горбани ).
