The Holden UTEster is a concept vehicle that Holden brought out in 2001 as a further development of the VU Ute SS . It has a third generation 5.7 liter V8 engine and a manual six-speed gearbox. All four 19 ″ wheels have disc brakes.

The UTEster is painted yellow (Marque Yellow) with black applications (Jet Black). The wheels are made of titanium silver and the inside is black leather with yellow baseball stitching.

The flatbed cover of the UTEster has a special construction. It is divided in the middle and can be opened from the interior with a lever. The front part is used to accommodate the removable glass roof, while the rear part is used like a normal flatbed truck.
