The Holden Shuttle was a pickup truck or minibus sold by Holden in Australia in the 1982 and 1990 model years . It was identical to the Isuzu Fargo and Isuzu WFR made in Japan .
The vehicles were offered with a short wheelbase (2350 mm) or long wheelbase (2690 mm) as 3-4-door delivery vans with sheet metal side windows and as 4-door minibuses with 9 seats (until 1987). The bus was called LS in 1982 and LT from 1983 . There was also a high-roof van. Various other constructions have also been used in Japan, e.g. B. a flatbed truck built.
In-line four-cylinder engines with 1.8 or 2.0 l displacement and 65 or 69 kW power served as drive. Until 1986 there was also a four-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 2.0 l and an output of 44 kW. The LS and LT variants had a manual five-speed gearbox, while the other models had to get by with a four-speed gearbox until 1985. From 1988 on there was a four-stage automatic.
The Holden Shuttle was discontinued in 1990, while the Isuzu Fargo in Japan continued to be built until 1995, from 1995 to 2001 even in a second generation. There were also other engines, such as. B. a 2.4-liter R4 diesel is used.
