The Isuzu Oasis is a van that was manufactured by Isuzu in collaboration with Honda from 1996 to 1999. The Oasis is the brand's only van.
There was an agreement with Honda that they were allowed to sell the Isuzu models Rodeo and Trooper as Honda Passport and Acura SLX , respectively , while Isuzu in return offered the Honda models Odyssey and Civic as Isuzu Oasis and Isuzu Gemini . So the Oasis was basically just a Honda Odyssey with Isuzu badges at a cheaper price and with a better warranty. Due to the better reputation of the Honda brand, the Odyssey achieved better sales figures.
The Oasis was offered in the US from 1996 to 1999. After the revision of the Odyssey in 1999, Isuzu continued to offer the old model with a few small changes for the entire model year. Later Oasis models have a 2.3 liter VTEC engine like the 6th generation Honda Accord .
