Hradiště (German Hradischt ) is a municipality with 36 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the Czech Republic . It is located 14 kilometers north of Zbiroh in the Pürglitzer Forest and belongs to the Okres Rokycany . The cadastral area is 284 ha.
geography
The place is located in the Radnitzer Bergland at 317 m above sea level. M. on the right slope of the Berounka valley . To the north on the opposite bank lies the Bělidlo (371 m) and in the south the Černá skalka (468 m) rises.
Neighboring towns are Kostelík in the north, Hřebečníky and Šlovice in the northeast, Čilá in the east, Podmokly in the south, Zvíkovec in the southwest and Chříč in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village comes from 1318. Before that there was an old fortified settlement on the site of the village, the Celtic origin of which has been confirmed by finds of rainbow bowls , especially the coin treasure of Podmokl .
In 1843 Hradischt / Hradisst consisted of 21 houses with 167 residents. The pastor was Zwikowetz . Until the middle of the 19th century, Hradischt remained subject to Fideikommiss Pürglitz .
In 1939 about 150 people lived in the village. Since then, the population has fallen sharply and more than 60 houses are used as holiday homes for recreational purposes in the Křivoklátsko Biosphere Reserve.
