Hugo Brasch

Hugo August Heinrich Brasch (born January 16, 1854 in Greifenhagen , † April 2, 1937 in Halensee ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer , judge and district administrator .

Origin and life

Brasch was a son of the landowner Christian Friedrich Hermann Brasch and his wife Caecillie, née Martens. After attending a high school, he studied in Jena and Berlin law . In 1875 he was reciprocated in the Corps Guestphalia Jena . He distinguished himself as a consenior and was later elected an honorary member. On September 1, 1877, he became a trainee lawyer and received training at the district court of Bahn / Pomerania and the Wiesbaden public prosecutor's office. On October 23, 1879, he became a government advisor at the Landdrostei Hildesheim and the Erfurt government . In September 1882 he became a government assessor at the Aachen government , where he was appointed provisional district administrator of the Prüm district on October 1, 1886 , followed by the definitive appointment on June 27, 1887 . On June 9, 1890, he moved to the district of Insterburg as a provisional district administrator, where he was finally appointed district administrator on March 25, 1891. As one of five corps students, he stayed in this office for twelve years. On April 8, 1903, he was transferred to the government in Cöslin as a senior councilor . On December 14, 1908, he was appointed senior administrative judge at the Prussian Higher Administrative Court . On March 2, 1922, he was retired with effect from April 1, 1922.

Brasch married Ida Christine Wilhelmine, née Witte (born November 2, 1864 in Hamburg) on June 29, 1888 in Hamburg , daughter of the businessman Christian Heinrich Witte and his wife Juliane Cathrine, née Schröder.
