IC 1763 is a faint spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Fornax in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 200 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light-years across.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on October 10, 1897 .
