IC 1745 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 535 million light years from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 725 , NGC 734 , NGC 756 , IC 1741 .
The object was discovered on January 1st, 1900 by Herbert Alonzo Howe .
