IC 1725 is a spiral dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type Sc in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 179 million light years from the Milky Way and about 15,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on January 17, 1896 .
