IC 1718 is a compact galaxy of Hubble type C in the constellation Triangulum at the northern sky . It is an estimated 209 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a disk diameter of about 35,000 light years.
The galaxies NGC 608 and NGC 614 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on November 13, 1903 .
