IC 1770 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is around 208 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 60,000 ly. Together with IC 1771 , it probably forms a bound galaxy pair .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on November 24, 1903 .
