IC 3212 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky . It is estimated to be 340 million light years from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4295 , IC 3210 , IC 3234 , IC 3237 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 23, 1903 .
