IC 3230 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 321 million light years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies IC 3193 , IC 3234 , IC 3243 , IC 3270 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 23, 1903 .
