IC 3235 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky . It is an estimated 337 million light years from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies NGC 4305 , NGC 4306 , IC 3246 , IC 3280 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 7, 1904 .
