IC 4244 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is an estimated 326 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light-years across. 
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 5116 , IC 4230 , IC 4241 , IC 4250 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on June 12, 1895 .
