Ich bin ein Star - The Hour After is a German talk show from RTL and RTLplus , which is part of the program Ich bin ein Star - Get me out of here! has been broadcast since 2018.

The talk show first became the twelfth season of I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here in 2018 ! broadcast and is managed by Good Morning Germany presenter Finger heirs Angela moderated. The show is similar to the talk show Celebrity Big Brother - The Late Night Show .

In December 2017 it was announced that RTL would like to produce a talk show to accompany the so-called jungle camp , which is moderated by Sonja Zietlow and Daniel Hartwich , which should be broadcast on the subsidiary channel RTL plus.

Current events from the camp are analyzed and discussed in the broadcast. In addition, the celebrity friends and companions at the Hotel Versace in Australia will go live . Furthermore, games are played and the camper of the day is chosen. RTL reporter Sebastian Klimpke will take over the live broadcasts to Australia on site.

In 2019, the talk show was also broadcast with the same moderator and the same procedure, but only the weekly editions were shown on RTL plus, on the weekend the program ran on the main channel RTL. In November 2019, Angela Finger-Erben announced on Instagram that an hour later was also planned for 2020 . From January 10th to 26th, 2020, the talk show ran alongside the jungle camp with the same presenter and the same broadcast frequency as in the previous year .

For each broadcast, three guests come to comment on the events in the jungle camp together with finger heirs. In addition, experts from various fields are regularly represented as guests, who try to classify and explain the social behavior of the participants. Most of the talk show guests are former jungle camp participants. The guests who have appeared several times include Olivia Jones , Ross Antony , Julian FM Stoeckel , Sarah Knappik and Désirée Nick .
