The Italian U-20 national soccer team is a selection team of Italian soccer players. It is subject to the Italian football umbrella organization Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio and represents it internationally at the U-20 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations or at the U-20 World Cup .
The team has qualified six times for the finals of a U-20 World Cup. The best result was third place in 2017 .
