Jakobsmühle is a residential area in the Schnelldorf community in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland is now almost completely related to the parish village on the western edge of Unterampfrach . It consists of a residential building with its own house number and four outbuildings and is located on the Altweiherbach, a right tributary of the Ampfrach , which feeds an approximately 0.1  hectare large mill pond. A residential path leads 50 meters further south into Dinkelbergstraße from Unterampfrach.

history

The Jakobsmühle was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . The Vogtamt Ampfrach owned the grinding and cutting mill as the landlord . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Jakobsmühle was assigned to the tax district and the rural community Unterampfrach . In the course of the regional reform , Jakobsmühle was incorporated into Schnelldorf on January 1, 1972.
