Ransbach an der Holzecke is a district of the Schnelldorf community in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is located on the Altweiherbach, which is a right tributary of the Ampfrach , which in turn is a right tributary of the Wörnitz . The Ransbacher Forst and the Brunnenschlag in the southwest lie on the Kesselberg-Kreßberg ridge, which is part of the Frankenhöhe . A community connecting road leads to Unterampfrach (2 km east) or to the district road AN 4 near Schnelldorf (2.5 km north-west).

history

Ransbach was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 7 properties. The village and community rule was held by the Vogtamt Ampfrach . The landlords were the Vogtamt Ampfrach (6 estates) and the caste office Feuchtwangen (1 little house). Nothing in these conditions changed until the end of the Old Kingdom . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century), Ransbach was assigned to the Unterampfrach tax district and the Haundorf rural community . As part of the regional reform , Ransbach was incorporated into Schnelldorf on January 1, 1972.
