Jing Ruixue ( Chinese  景 瑞雪 , Pinyin Jǐng Ruìxuě , born July 4, 1988 in the Zizhou district of the city of Yulin in the Shaanxi province of the People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese wrestler . In 2006 and 2007 she became world champion in the weight class up to 67 kg.

Career

Jing Ruixue comes from the northwest Chinese province of Shaanxi and starts for the Wrestling Club Shaanxi . She started wrestling in 2001. Since then, Xu Kuiyuan has been her trainer. The 1.70 meter tall, very powerful wrestler is a student.

Although Jing could have started in the Jurionnines up to 2008 due to her age, she has always competed in the women since 2004. The first time it was seen in 2004 at such an event, namely the FILA test tournament for the Olympic Games in Athens . There she took an excellent 2nd place in the weight class up to 67 kg behind the Russian Julija Bartnowskaja .

In 2005 she was Asian champion in Wuhan in the weight class up to 67 kg, ahead of Eri Sakamoto from Japan and Jana Panowa from Kyrgyzstan . This year she started at a world championship for the first time and came in Budapest in the weight class up to 63 kg after victories over Ludmila Golowchenko, Ukraine , Tara Rose Hedican, Canada , Olga Chilko , Belarus and Katarzyna Juszczak from Italy and a defeat in the final against Kaori Icho from Japan in 2nd place.

In 2006, Jing became world champion for the first time in Guangzhou in the weight class up to 67 kg. On the way to this success she defeated Maria Müller from Germany , Marisa Admiraal from the Netherlands, Teresa Mendez from Spain and Martine Dugrenier from Canada.

In 2007 she started at the German Grand Prix in Dormagen , where she won ahead of Nikola Hartmann-Dünser from Austria and Olga Butkewitsch from Great Britain . In the same year she then successfully defended her world title in the weight class up to 67 kg at the World Championships in Baku . She defeated Kristine Odrina Orbowa, Latvia , Yoshiko Inoue , Japan, Cathrine Downing , USA and Martine Dugrenier.

From 2008 to 2010, Jing Ruixue did not appear on any international mat. The reasons for this are not known.

In February 2011, she appeared at the Grand Prix of France in Tourcoing but again, where she won this competition in the weight category to 63 kg prior Scharchüügiin Tümentsetseg from Mongolia and aline focken from Germany. In September 2011 she competed at the World Championships in Istanbul . There she won in the weight class up to 63 kg u. a. over Monika Ewa Michalik from Poland, before she lost to Kaori Icho (0: 2 rounds, 0: 1, 0: 1 points) and in the consolation round with victories over Julija Ostaptschuk , Ukraine and Elena Piroschkowa , USA, another World Cup Won bronze medal .

It remains to be seen whether she will compete in the 2012 Olympic Games in London . She would have to compete there in the Olympic weight class up to 63 kg and would meet Kaori Icho again. She started in London and showed very good fights. She won there over Choe Un Gong, North Korea, Monika Ewa Michalik , Poland and Lyubow Michailowna Wolossowa , Russia and only lost in the final against Kaori Icho , with which she won the Olympic silver medal.

After that she only competed at the 2013 Asian Championships in New Delhi, where she took 3rd place in the weight class up to 67 kg.
