Joanna Mucha
Joanna Mucha (born April 12, 1976 in Płońsk ) is a Polish politician, from 2011 to 2013 Minister of Sports and Tourism.
Life
In 2001 Joanna Mucha graduated from Warsaw University with a master's degree in business administration. After completing her studies, she worked as a research assistant at the Catholic University of Lublin from 2002 to 2010 . In 2006 she completed postgraduate studies in health economics at Warsaw University. In 2002 or 2003 Joanna Mucha became a member of the newly founded Platforma Obywatelska ( citizens' platform ). On September 20, 2007 , she received her PhD on Rationalization in Public Health in Poland through a Patient Co-Payment System at the Catholic University of Lublin. In the parliamentary elections in 2007 she started in constituency 6 of Lublin and won a seat for the Sejm with 21,028 votes . In the 2011 elections , Joanna Mucha was again able to win a seat in the Sejm with 45,568 votes in the same constituency. On November 18, 2011, she was sworn in as Minister of Sports and Tourism in Donald Tusk's cabinet.
Joanna Mucha has been divorced since July 2011. Her two sons live with their father in Lublin.
