Joe Williams (born October 18, 1982 in Alexandria , Virginia ) is an American stuntman and actor .

Life

As a performer, he first appeared as a ninja in the film Ninja vs. Pirates on camera. The following year he was a fighter in the action film The Fighters , starring alongside Sean Faris and Amber Heard in front of the camera. In the action thriller Freerunner , Williams played the role of freerunner Turk and was thus an "antagonist" of Sean Fari's character Ryan . He played the character Scott in the comedy 21 Jump Street , starring Jonah Hill as Schmidt and Channing Tatum as Jenko .

In addition to his acting roles, Joe Williams has worked as a stunt performer on films such as The Great Debaters , Zombieland , Green Lantern , The Fighters 2 , The Dark Knight Rises and 21 Jump Street, as well as television series such as Army Wives , Burn Notice and Common Law . In 2013, Joe Williams was engaged in the sequel GI Joe - Die Abrechnung and Percy Jackson - Im Bann des Cyclopen , the film adaptation of the novel of the same name for stunts.

Williams is currently performing stunts for the action comedy That's The End , by directors Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen , with actors James Franco , Jonah Hill and Emma Watson .
