Josef Quadflieg (born July 26, 1933 in Alsdorf ; † February 11, 2013 in Stolberg ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Josef Quadflieg was involved with the Cologne theater for many years . Here he played u. a. 1967 in Celestina by Carlo Terran, in 1980 he embodied in Das Käthchen von Heilbronn by Heinrich von Kleist as Gottfried von Friedborn the bridegroom of the title character. Quadflieg was featured in Kleist's Amphitryon in 1982, as well as in the world premiere of Klaus Pohl's La Balkona Bar in 1985 and in his play Das alten Land in the same year . In 2000 he stood in several roles in Shakespeare's The Government of King Edward III. on stage. Quadflieg worked with well-known directors such as Karl Paryla , Jürgen Flimm , Frank-Patrick Steckel and Sanda Weigl .

Josef Quadflieg made his television debut in the mid-1960s. It was sporadically seen on the screen for about ten years. It was not until the mid-1990s that his work in front of the camera increased. So Quadflieg was several times in the sitcom Lukas with Dirk Bach guest, in the ARD - soap opera Forbidden Love he played between 1995 and 2006 different characters. His last TV role was the pensioner Guntmar in eleven episodes of the early evening series Heiter bis födlich: Henker & Richter .

Since 1963, Josef Quadflieg was also a very busy radio play speaker and participated in around 150 productions of West German Broadcasting .

Josef Quadflieg died in 2013 at the age of 79 and was buried in the north cemetery in Alsdorf .
