Julija Evgenjewna Galyschewa ( Russian Юлия Евгеньевна Галышева ; born October 23, 1992 in Öskemen ) is a Kazakh freestyle skier . She specializes in the mogul slope disciplines moguls and dual moguls. Her greatest achievement is the Moguls World Championship in 2019.

biography

Galyschewa took part in the European Cup from March 2006 and achieved the first two victories at this level in February 2008. She made her debut in the World Cup on December 18, 2008 in Méribel , where she came 19th in the Dual Moguls competition. At the 2009 World Championships in Inawashiro , she achieved the best classification to date with eleventh place in the Mughal competition. In the following 2009/10 World Cup season , she made it into the top ten for the first time, and came eleventh again at the 2010 Winter Olympics . On December 15, 2010, Galyschewa achieved her first World Cup victory when she won the Moguls competition in Méribel. She took part in the 2011 Winter Asian Games in the Kazakh city of Almaty and won both the Mughal and the Dual Mughal gold medal. Another gold medal was added at the 2011 Junior World Championships in Jyväskylä .

In the 2011/12 World Cup season , a third place in Beida Lake Galysheva's best result. At the Junior World Championships in 2012 in Chiesa di Valmalenco, she won two more medals, gold in the Moguls and bronze in the Dual Moguls competition.
