Junior Stanislas (born November 26, 1989 in London ) is an English football player who plays as a winger for AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League .

Career

Born in Kidbrooke , London , Stanislas joined West Ham United as a student in 2000 at the age of 10 . He first played for the club's reserve team and was loaned to Southend United in 2008 for which he played his first games in professional football. In all competitions he played a total of nine games for Southend and scored three goals.

Stanislas made his West Ham Premier League debut on March 16, 2009 against bottom-bottom West Bromwich Albion when he replaced Savio Nsereko in the second half. He scored his first goal in his first start for the club, in a 2-0 home win over Sunderland AFC on April 4. On April 9th, he signed his first professional contract, which ran for four and a half years. Ultimately, however, Stanislas could not establish himself as a regular player.

In August 2011 he moved to the then second division club Burnley FC and signed a three-year contract there. Stanislas made a total of 32 appearances in his debut season for Burnley and scored no goals. In his second season at Turf Moor Stanislas was again a regular player and appeared in all but 11 league games, scoring 5 goals.

In 2014 Stanislas was offered a new contract. However, he decided to move to AFC Bournemouth. In the following season 2014/15 the promotion with Bournemouth succeeded, Stanislas contributed with one goal in 13 games. His first Premier League goals for the club came on November 28, 2015 when he scored two late goals against Everton . In September 2018, he signed a contract extension with Bournemouth until 2021.
