Philip Anyanwu Billing (born June 11, 1996 ) is a Danish football player . He has played for Huddersfield Town since his youth in England and has been with AFC Bournemouth since 2019 . He is a former Danish junior international.

Career

The son of a Nigerian and a Danish woman - the middle name comes from the language of the Igbo people living in Nigeria - began playing football at Esbjerg fB and moved to Huddersfield Town in England in October 2013 . On April 26, 2014, he made his professional debut in the 2-0 draw in the 2013-14 season of the Football League Championship (English second division) against Leicester City when he came on for Jonathan Hogg in the 76th minute . In the 2014/15 season he was not used, in the next season he played 13 games. In the 2016/17 season , Billing played 24 games and four times in the FA Cup . At the end of the season he rose to the Premier League with Huddersfield Town . If you could still hold the class in the first year, the club rose again in the EFL Championship the following year . In two years in the top English league Billing came to 43 appearances and two goals.

At the end of July 2019, he moved to AFC Bournemouth .

National team

Billing came to a use in the Danish U19 national team . On August 31, 2017 , he played for the Danish U21 national team for the first time in the 3-0 victory in the European Championship qualifier in Torshavn against the Faroe Islands . At the 2019 European Championships in Italy and San Marino , Billing was used in all three group games. The team was eliminated as one of the worst runners-up after the group stage.
