Daniel "Dan" Gosling (born February 2, 1990 in Brixham ) is an English football player who has been active in the Premier League for AFC Bournemouth since summer 2014 .

Athletic career

Club career

He is used as a midfielder . He made his professional debut for Plymouth Argyle at the age of 16 years and 310 days, when he was substituted on for the game against Hull City . He was regularly used in the reserve team. In March 2007 he completed a trial training at Chelsea FC . On January 3, 2008, he moved to the Premier League club Everton FC.

On February 4, 2009 he scored the decisive goal to make it 1-0 in the 118th minute of the FA Cup replay of the fourth round against city rivals Liverpool FC .

On July 22, 2010 Gosling moved to the Premier League newly promoted Newcastle United on a free transfer and signed a contract for four years. There he was given the shirt number 15.

In the summer of 2014, the second division AFC Bournemouth signed the free midfielder.

National team

Gosling played for England at the U-17 European Football Championship 2007 in Belgium and the U-17 Football World Cup 2007 in South Korea as well as for the U-19 at the European Football Championship 2008 in the Czech Republic and the European Football Championship 2009 in the Ukraine . On November 14, 2009 he made his debut in the U-21 team when he came on as a substitute for Fabian Delph in added time in the game against Portugal .
