Kahlenberge is a residential area in the Pollitz district of the municipality of Aland in the Stendal district in Saxony-Anhalt .
geography
The place is one kilometer northwest of Pollitz, eight kilometers northwest of Krüden , the seat of the municipality of Aland and 13 kilometers northwest of the Hanseatic city of Seehausen (Altmark) , the seat of the Seehausen (Altmark) community . The neighboring towns are Müggendorf and Ziegelei in the northeast, Wahrenberg and Braves Land in the east, Pollitz in the southeast, Groß Garz in the south, Deutsch in the southwest, Drösede in the west, and Bömenzien , Aulosen , Klein Wanzer and Wanzer in the northwest.
history
The first mention comes from the year 1448 when Margrave Friedrich enfeoffed the shaft with two hooves, which included six pieces of land in the Calenberge zcu krugen . Other mentions include Hoff thom Kalenberge in 1518 , Kahlenbergk in 1687 .
Around 1800 the place belonged to the Seehausenschen district in the province of Altmark ; part of the Kurmark of the Mark Brandenburg . In a description of this landscape from 1804, the "noble estate Calenberge" was specified as not far from Pollitz and listed with four fireplaces and 35 residents; in addition to a forester and four residents. There was also a windmill, a brick factory and 72 bushels of sowing. The residents were parish in Pollitz, which was part of the inspection in Seehausen. The addresses were Seehausen and Arendsee and the owner was given as the “Chamberlain von Jagow in Pollitz”.
At the end of the 19th century, the Kahlenberge windmill stood north of Kahlenberge not far from the boundary between Groß Wanzer and Pollitz
Incorporations
In the 19th century the place was a manor in the Seehausenschen district that was eligible for state assembly . However, it later did not become an independent manor district, but belonged to the manor district and later district of Pollitz as early as 1840.

The Protestants from Kahlenberge are parish in the Protestant parish of Pollitz, which formerly belonged to the parish of Groß Wanzer. The parish is now part of the church community association Beuster-Aland in the parish area Beuster the church district Stendal in Propst Sprengel Stendal Magdeburg of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .
