Vosshof is a residential area in the Krüden district of the municipality of Aland in the Stendal district in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The place is the easternmost settlement of the municipality of Aland. It is located on the west bank of the Aland River , one kilometer east of Vielbaum and three kilometers north of the Hanseatic city of Seehausen (Altmark) . Completely in the Elbe biosphere reserve located in the conservation area and Aland Elbe valley, the local situation is bordered to the east by the FFH area Seehausen and the nature reserve of Aland Elbe lowlands north of Aland Elbe valley .

history

In 1438 Voss (Fuchs) sells ½ tithes from his farm to Wilmer, a citizen of Seehausen. In 1484 Voss lived in Vielbaum and was enfeoffed in 1499.

In 1804, the Voss-Hof was a noble estate belonging to the village of Vielbaum in the Seehausen district and parish there, which had a few granny apartments and was owned by the Voss family . In 1871 there was the Guts Bezirk Vielbaum with a dairy in the village of Vielbaum. The manor district was later also known as the Vielbaum II manor, known as Vosshof.

Incorporations

On September 30, 1928, the manor district of Vosshof was merged with the rural community of Vielbaum . Vosshof was continued as a district. On July 1, 1950, Vielbaum was incorporated into the municipality of Krüden . In 1986 Vosshof was listed as a district of Krüden. In 2006 Vosshof was only a residential area of ​​the municipality of Krüden.

Until the end of 2009, Vosshof belonged to the previously independent municipality of Krüden. On January 1, 2010 the place became part of the newly formed municipality of Aland and has existed since then as a settlement in the district of Krüden of the municipality of Aland.

The Protestant Christians from Vosshof were parish into the Vielbaum parish, which earlier belonged to the Krüden (Crüden) parish.
