The canton of Le Puy-en-Velay-Sud-Ouest was a French canton in the arrondissement of Le Puy-en-Velay in the Haute-Loire department in the Auvergne region in France until 2015 ; its main town was Le Puy-en-Velay . His representative in the Conseil général was Marc Boléa ( Divers droite ) from 2008 to 2015 .

In the southwest it bordered the canton Solignac-sur-Loire , in the northwest with the canton Le Puy-en-Velay-Ouest and in the northeast and southeast with the canton Le Puy-en-Velay-Sud-Est . It was between 600 m and 888 m above sea level in Le Puy-en-Velay .
