Kilanas ( Malay Mukim Kilanas ) is a Mukim ( sub- district) of the Daerah Brunei-Muara in Brunei .

geography

The Mukim is located in the southwest of the district and borders the Mukim Gadong B and Kianggeh in the northeast, Lumapas in the east and south, Pengkalan Batu in the southwest and Sengkurong in the west and north. Some of the Mukim settlements still belong to the capital district of Bandar Seri Begawan . These are the Kampong Bunut , Bunut Perpindahan , Madewa , Tasek Meradun and Telanai . You were admitted to the capital district in 2007. The southern border of the Mukim is largely formed by the Sungai Brunei . Another important river in the Mukim is the Sungai Damuan with the tributaries Sungai Mulaut and Sungai Metambu .

The northeastern part of the Mukim is covered by hilly tropical forest. The settlement areas spread along the rivers.
