Mentiri ( Malay Mukim Mentiri ) is a Mukim ( sub- district) of the Daerah Brunei-Muara in Brunei .

geography

The Mukim is located in the northeast of the Brunei-Muara district and borders both the South China Sea in the north and Brunei Bay or Serasa Bay in the southeast. The Mukim Serasa in the east, Kota Batu in the southwest and Berakas A and Berakas B represent the land borders of the sub- district. The area includes several islands: Pulau Salar , Pulau Simangga Besar and Pulau Bedukang .

The Sungai Mangsalut forms the main artery to the South China Sea to the north, while the Sungai Batu Marang is dammed to the Mengkubau Reservoir in the southeast . The eponymous river Sungai Mentiri and the settlement of the same name are located on the southeast coast of the Mukim.
