Kiudang ( Malay Mukim Kiudang ) is a Mukim ( sub- district) of the Daerah Tutong in Brunei . Muhammad Saiful bin Abdullah Anja .

geography

The Mukim lies in the east of the district and is bordered by the Mukim Keriam in the north, Lamunin in the south and Tanjong Maya in the west and Pekan Tutong in the northwest, as well as Pengkalan Batu in the Brunei-Muara district in the northeast and Limbang , Sarawak in Malaysia in the southeast.

Kampung Kiudang

Kampung Kiudang (postcode TE1543) is the eponymous village of the Mukim the area is largely dominated by primary forest .

The village is subordinate to a ketua kampung . In 2017 the incumbent was Muhammad Saiful bin Abdullah Anja . There is also a Majlis Perundingan Kampung ( Village Consultative Council ).

Infrastructure

There are two public schools in Kiudang: Sekolah Rendah Kiudang (Kiudang Primary School) and the Sekolah Ugama Kiudang (Kiudang Religious School, Islamic School)

Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Wakeel Mosque serves devout Muslims primarily for Friday prayer (Jumu'ah). The mosque was rebuilt to create enough space.

Awards

Kiudang has won a number of awards and attention, including the Anugerah Kampung Cemerlang bronze medal (Excellent Village Award 2013). In addition, the village was recognized as a community-based ecotourism village by the development aid organization BIMP-EAGA (East ASEAN Growth Area) in 2015. In 2017, Kiudang received the ASEAN Tourism Award
