Lamunin ( Malay Mukim Lamunin ) is a Mukim ( sub- district) of the Daerah Tutong in Brunei . The Mukim is subordinate to a Penghulu . The incumbent is currently Tujoh Talip .

geography

The Mukim is east-central in the Tutong district and borders on Kiudang in the north, Rambai in the south and southwest, Ukong in the west and Tanjong Maya in the northwest, and Limbang in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia in the east. A large part of the Mukim is still covered by primary forest.

Kampung Lamunin

Kampong Lamunin (postcode TG2343) is the village of the same name in Mukim. It is subordinate to a ketua kampung (mayor). At the moment this is Said bin Tinggal . In Lamunin there is the Lamunin Primary School and the Muslim Lamunin Religious School .

The Lamunin Health Center provides medical care to residents from Lamunin, Rambai, Ukong, Kiudang and Tanjong Maya.
