Tanjong Maya ( Malay Mukim Tanjong Maya ) is a Mukim (sub-district) of the Daerah Tutong in Brunei . The mukim is led by a penghulu . The incumbent is Abdul Wahab Apong .

geography

The Mukim is centrally located in the north of the district and borders on the Mukim Pekan Tutong in the north, Kiudang in the east, Lamunin in the southeast, Ukong in the southwest and Telisai in the west. While the area in the northern part is more populated, the land in the south and south-east, towards the interior, is increasingly becoming primary forest . The Sungai Tanjong Maya flows from the left and east at Pulau Tanjong Maya into the middle reaches of the Sungai Tutong , which winds through the Mukim from south to north and most of the settlements have emerged along the river. To the southwest, the Mukim is also bounded by the Andulau Forest Reserve .

The Mukim is divided into villages (Kampong). It includes the following eleven campaigns:

• Bukit Udal
• Liulon
• Lubok Pulau
• Padang
• Pemadang
• Penapar
• Sebacite
• Tanjong Maya
• Tanjong Panjang

Each of these settlements has its own postal code. However, there are only four real villages in Tanjong Maya namely Bukit Udal, Lubok Pulau, Penapar and Tanjong Maya. Each village is represented by a Ketua Kampung .
